Recruiting top 10 prospects seems to be the only realistic way to contend for a national championship now with the PSU juggernaut, and VT is doing that more often now. And they get to recruit those top 10 caliber wrestlers now because the wrestling community has seen how the VT coaches have been able to "coach up" lower recruits year after year.

Ty and Sal are two enormous success stories.
